Deepwater Giants: Trophy Rockfish & Lingcod
This is the same targeted fish as bottom fishing only deeper waters which yields larger Rockfish and larger Ling cod. These trips are more enjoyable if you have some experience with a regular bottom fishing trip. This season is open for a period of time in June and also offered in the month of September. This fishery targets 7 Rockfish and 2 Ling cod- the same delicious white fish great for baking or frying. Rock fish can weigh anywhere between 3 to 8 pounds with
Lingcod coming in at 10 to 40+ pounds. It’s not uncommon to catch the vibrantly colored, Canary rockfish while on these excursions. These trips are longer than our nearshore bottom fishing trips. Be prepared to put in some work.
Deep water Lingcod fishing is available from June 1-15, and September 1-15

- Seasickness Medicine (take well in advance)
- Your WA state fishing license – If you need one we can sell you a 1-day license onboard for $10
- Don’t forget to tip your deckhand!

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE DONE 72 hour Prior to trip departure. You can cancel through the link in your confirmation email or give us a ring.
If for any reason someone in your party cannot keep their reservation, please let us know within 72 hours of departure (5 days for Halibut and Tuna), and the deposit will be refunded less a 10% cancellation fee. If you cancel late, there is no refund.
If WE cancel your trip due to weather or other reasons beyond our control, we will gladly refund your money in full or issue rain checks for another date. Prices are subject to change at any time.
